So… i’ve spent the last week with the love of my life and just generally hanging out in texas. It’s not quite the stereotypical texas of the movies – tho i saw a bit of that yesterday driving out to “Iola” and driving thru “Cut-N-Shoot” Texas. Yes, there is a town that named itself “Cut-n-Shoot.” Aren’t they precious? I’ve picked up a bit of a drawl while here as well. I don’t think it’ll last – it’s mostly just defensive. Don’t want to sound to “yankee” among the natives. So I say things like, “Ah need to put my contaks in mah aahs.” it’s pretty darn cute.
