what a day that will be…

finally finished the web project i’ve been working on, can’t wait for the check to arrive now… i’m ready to move. for those who don’t know, i moved from the north coast a couple months ago and have been staying at my parents house. staying in my parents garage actually, and that’s a bit wearing. i’ve been planning on moving to half a dozen places, but finally settled on stockton because i can move there quickly and have plenty of work to do there.

i was thinking earlier of moving back to toledo, but i decided that was more of a nostalgia trip then a serious idea. most of the friends i have back there have moved on with their respective lives and trying to recreate a care-free post high school summer of bliss thing is really just not practical. In stockton i have a web company that i’m going to be forming with an old college roommate – selling stickers, no less – and plenty of opportunity to pursue other business engagements. i also have a handful of friends left in the area, which is a plus, because i haven’t really had good friends within a 50 mile radius since i left college. loneliness is something you can manage but not quite get used to. split infinitive.
