where the sun don't shine

02 March 2006 at 22:00

Late last night I went to the hospital to pick up max. His mother is having his little brother sometime around now. He really didn't want to go. He kept crying ""I can't leave now! I see baby jackson!"" It took awhile to convince him to go. His mother told him that he had to go home and sleep and could come back and see the baby when the sun came up.

Walking into the house his tired mind was firing.

""Daddy, we go see baby jackson in the morning?""

""Yes.""

""When sun comes up?""

""Yes.""

""Sun is down now. Under the grass. Sun is under the grass now, but comes up in the morning!""

""Um... sure.""

He bends down low to the ground.

""Hello sun! Come up now and see baby jackson!""

Good times.
