the ten year plan to repair the parking lot behind my office is going along great. they've managed to move the jackhammers closer to my window... about 20 to 30 feet now i think. notices that's jackhammer(s) in the plural. 4 to 5 in constant use pounding away at the concrete (which runs beneath the building... so the whole place is shaking too) they only work from 9ish to 4 or so, so i do have a respite for an hour in the evening.

i'm gonna break something.
